The ancient walls of The Great Hall, authentic furniture and glow of the fire will transport you back to the 16th century.

If the weather is fine, we've a fire-pit as well as rugged landscape photoshoot opportunities with the castle providing a dramatic backdrop.

The Great Hall at The Black Castle, with its ancient vaulted ceiling, whitewashed walls and leadlight windows, has an ethereal, almost church-like quality with the most amazing acoustics...an enchanting space to experience the haunting airs of Ronan Browne on the Uileann pipes...if you're interested in having musicians for your ceremony we can provide suggestions for you.
